AICHI-NAGOYA, 24 September (H.S.): India narrowly missed out on a medal in the men’s 10m air pistol team event at the Asian Games 2026, with the trio of Kamaljeet, Kedarlingsh Balakrishna and Akash Bhardwaj finishing fourth with a combined score of 1,727-53x.

China won the gold medal with a score of 1,743-70x, while Indonesia claimed silver with 1,743-57x and Japan secured bronze with 1,730-54x.

Kamaljeet scored 580-16x from 60 shots to finish ninth in the individual standings.

Akash Bhardwaj secured 11th place with a score of 579-20x. Only the top eight shooters qualified for the individual final.

Kedarlings Uchaganve, meanwhile, had a difficult outing and finished 35th with a score of 568. His relatively low score caused India to slip from third to fourth place, ultimately leaving the team outside the medal positions.
