New Delhi, 24 September (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin has assigned new organisational responsibilities to party leaders in various states with the aim of further strengthening the organisation. All the appointments will take effect immediately.

According to a press release issued by the BJP central office on Thursday, a total of 24 leaders have been appointed to new positions. The appointments include key organisational responsibilities such as National Joint General Secretary (Organisation), State General Secretary (Organisation) and State Joint General Secretary (Organisation).

Shiv Prakash has been appointed National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) and given charge of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa. Saudan Singh has been assigned responsibility for Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal.

B. Satish has been given charge of the SC-ST Morcha and the Parliamentary Office, while Nagendra has been entrusted with organisational responsibilities and outreach to senior party workers. Ajay Jamwal has been appointed State General Secretary (Organisation) of Maharashtra. Satish Dhond has been appointed State Joint General Secretary (Organisation) in Maharashtra and assigned responsibility for tribal outreach in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Among the other appointments, Madhukar has been given charge of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; Dashrath has been assigned Telangana; and Ravindra Raju has been given responsibility for Assam and Tripura, along with office construction.

Bhimabai Dalsania has been appointed State General Secretary (Organisation) of Bihar, Pawan Sai to the corresponding position in Jharkhand, and Siddharthan to the post in Himachal Pradesh.

In addition, Ratnakar has been assigned Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu; Arun Binwadi has been given responsibility for Gujarat; Phanindranath Sharma for Uttarakhand; Pawan Rana for Delhi and Haryana; Karmaveer for Chhattisgarh; and Chandrashekhar for Madhya Pradesh. All have been appointed State General Secretaries (Organisation) in their respective areas.

Manas Mohanty has been assigned Odisha, Mantri Srinivasulu Punjab and Chandigarh, Dharampal Uttar Pradesh, and Amitabh Chakraborty West Bengal as State General Secretaries (Organisation).

At the organisational level, Abhay Giri has been appointed organiser for the Braj region, while Anant Narayan Mishra has been made organiser for the Bhagalpur, Purnia and Kosi regions.
