Lucknow, 24 Sept (HS): Lucknow is being transformed into a

contemporary urban model by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as part of the

larger developmental ambition of a New Uttar Pradesh. Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath announced significant new housing and township

projects in Lucknow, including the high-tech Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar

plans, in order to increase urban housing in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to

unveil the Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar housing developments projects today,

which are important undertakings of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

Varun Vihar Scheme: Located near the Agra Expressway (Dona village region), it

provides thousands of home plots ranging in size from 112.5 to 450 square

meters. The land fee is Rs. 2,800 per sq.ft.

Naimish Nagar Scheme: This township on Sitapur Road offers plots for Rs. 3,800

per square foot.

Along with the plot proposals, the Chief Minister lay the groundwork for five

new apartment complexes in Lucknow: Park View, Lake View, Aishbagh, Vageshwari,

and Aditi.

Meanwhile, in a post on X, UP CM stated, “A new chapter is

set to be added today in the direction of Lucknow's planned expansion and

realizing the citizens' dream of 'their own permanent home.' The foundation

stone laying and the inauguration of plot registrations for the Varun Vihar and

Naimish Nagar schemes, being developed over 10,680 acres at a cost of Rs. 12,000

crore, will take place. Additionally, the cornerstone laying for 5 proposed

multi-story apartments at a cost of Rs. 2,166 crore will be done. A developed

city, convenient life, and secure housing—this is the new identity of 'New

Lucknow' in the 'New Uttar Pradesh.'”
