Lucknow, 24 Sept (HS): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

leader and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that

with the blessings of the people, the work of the government and the tireless

efforts of the workers, the BJP will form the government in Uttar Pradesh for

the third time with a historic victory.

The Deputy Chief Minister wrote in a social media post on

Thursday that the situation of the Congress and other opposition parties, which

have been ousted from power in most states, is akin to a person, who lacks the

skill to do something; they blame external factors, tools, or the situation

instead of admitting their own incompetence.. Fearing defeat, they begin

crafting a script before every election to save face after the election

results. They seek to salvage the disgrace of defeat.

Earlier, this bad habit was only with the Congress and

especially its fickle-natured leader Rahul Gandhi, but now, following his

example, this disease has also spread to those parties which had the strength

to fight on the ground.

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that even if the Election

Commission's leadership were handed over to Rahul Gandhi and his coalition

partners, such as SP leader Akhilesh Yadav and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata

Didi, the public's trust would still remain in the BJP and its leader, Prime

Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP's electoral victory is the result of the

double-engine government's work, public trust, and strong organization down to

the booth level. BJP workers are working day and night among the public,

determined to ensure the lotus blooms wherever elections are held.
