Lucknow, 23 Sept (HS): On the occasion of his birth

anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid glowing homage

to famed Hindi poet and 'Rashtrakavi' Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', complimenting

his courageous pen and patriotic literary achievements. Dinkar's impartial and

courageous pen, according to CM Yogi, rekindled national pride and instilled

new energy in public awareness. He characterized the poet as a brilliant

litterateur, a diligent custodian of culture, and a strong voice of the

nation's soul.

On social media site X,

the Chief Minister cited Dinkar's motivating lines: Vah pradeep jo deekh raha

hai jhilamil, door nahin hai, thakkar baith gaye kya bhai! Manzil door nahin

hai. Widely recognized as Rashtrakavi (National Poet) and Padma Bhushan

recipient, he was noted for his heroic (veer ras) and nationalist poetry. Ramdhari

Singh 'Dinkar'was renowned for ageless literary works like Rashmirathi,

Kurukshetra, and Urvashi.

UP CM in a post on X mentioned, “On the birth anniversary of

the pinnacle figure of Hindi literature, 'Padma Bhushan', 'Rashtra Kavi'

Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', humble homage. With his impartial and fearless pen, he

awakened national pride and infused new energy into the consciousness of every

individual. His vigorous body of work will continue to deepen and intensify

India's culture and values.”
