New Delhi, 23 September (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tribute to Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on his birth anniversary, saying that the eminent poet’s powerful works, imbued with public consciousness and a profound sense of national pride, continue to inspire courage, vigour and self-respect among the people of India.

In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi said Dinkar’s writings not only enriched Hindi literature but also awakened a deep sense of devotion to the motherland and national consciousness among the people. He said Dinkar’s towering personality and timeless literary works would continue to guide generations to come.

The Prime Minister said, “On the birth anniversary of Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar Ji, I pay my heartfelt tributes to him. His powerful poems, filled with a deep sense of public consciousness and national pride, continue to instil courage, vigour and self-respect in the hearts of the people of India.”
