New Delhi, 23 September (H.S.): Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar on Wednesday inspected Balak Ram Hospital in the North Zone and reviewed the facilities being provided to patients and other visitors. During the inspection, he directed hospital staff to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and commitment to ensure smooth and efficient services for citizens.

During his visit, Khirwar directed officials to develop and improve the approach road from the main access route to the hospital entrance to facilitate the smooth movement of patients and visitors. He also ordered the relocation of a tree located within the hospital premises so that patients visiting the facility do not face any inconvenience and medical services can function without disruption.

The Municipal Commissioner further instructed officials to ensure the deployment of an adequate workforce at the hospital to support its day-to-day operations.

Khirwar also inspected the Wazirabad area in the North Zone and took stock of civic issues affecting local residents. He directed officials to ensure the desilting and cleaning of drains in the area.

He further instructed that ramps obstructing the cleaning of drains be removed wherever necessary, so that the drainage network can be cleaned properly and residents do not face avoidable inconvenience.

Timarpur MLA Surya Prakash Khatri, Additional Commissioner Pankaj Naresh Aggarwal, North Zone Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti, Chief Engineer K.K. Sharma and other senior officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi were present during the inspections.
