New Delhi, 23 September (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday flagged off a special set of wrapped Metro trains carrying messages on government welfare schemes and public initiatives from ITO Metro Station under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.

Gupta said the initiative would help take information about various welfare schemes and citizen-oriented programmes of the Delhi government to a wider audience, enabling eligible residents to learn about and access the benefits available to them.

The Chief Minister said five Metro trains comprising 36 coaches have been wrapped with messages highlighting different schemes of the Delhi government. These trains will operate on the Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Violet lines.

According to Gupta, the trains will collectively cover around 67 per cent of the Delhi Metro network, giving the awareness campaign a broad reach across the national capital.

She said the initiative has been designed to communicate information about government schemes in a simple and effective manner, particularly to eligible citizens who may benefit from them.

The campaign aims to use Delhi’s extensive Metro network as a platform for public outreach and to make information about welfare initiatives more accessible to residents across the city.
