Gold prices declined in most domestic bullion markets during early trading on Wednesday, with Chennai being the notable exception. Gold prices in Chennai registered a modest rise, while silver prices remained unchanged across the markets.

Following the latest price movement, gold became cheaper by Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,400 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country, excluding Chennai. In Chennai, however, gold prices increased by Rs 150 to Rs 170 per 10 grams.

As a result of these changes, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,53,170 and Rs 1,54,740 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was quoted between Rs 1,40,390 and Rs 1,41,840 per 10 grams. With silver prices remaining unchanged, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,320 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,53,170 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,390 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,53,220 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,440 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,53,220 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,40,440 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,320 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,53,220 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,40,440 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,53,320 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams.

Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a weaker trend in gold prices during early trading, in line with most other states. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,53,170 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,40,390 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
