Guwahati, 23 September (HS): As part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, a final rehearsal performance of the street play titled “Namo Seva Gatha – Ek Anbyakta Kahani” will be held at the Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha Auditorium of Jyoti Chitraban in Guwahati on Wednesday.

The street play has been conceptualised as part of the campaign to highlight Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey in public service. Artists participating in the production will present the final rehearsal before the invited guests and members of the public.

Guwahati Lok Sabha MP Bijuli Kalita Medhi, Cultural Affairs Minister Bimal Bora, Assam Minister Ashwini Kumar Ray Sarkar, who has been entrusted with overseeing the street-play initiative and Guwahati Metropolitan District BJP president Tapan Das are scheduled to attend the programme.

Several established and popular artistes from Assam, besides office-bearers and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, are also expected to be present. The organisers have invited people to participate in the event and urged them to attend the final rehearsal performance.----------
