Mumbai, 23 Sept (HS): An additional Collector’s and 15 Additional Tehsildars’

offices are being created for a special attention to Nagpur and Gadchiroli

districts. The decision was taken by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankuke

under the directions of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Given

the growing population of Nagpur resulting in high workload, a new Additional

Collector’s office (Nagpur Rural) and nine Additional Tehsildars’ offices will

be created in Nagpur. The officers of the Additional Tehsildars will be located

in different tehsils in the Nagpur District.

The officers will cover Nagpur (Rural) – Butibori, Hinga – Hudkeshwar, Nagpur

City – Wanadongri, Kamptee – Pardi, Katol – Wadoda, Narkged – Kondhali and

Jalalkheda, Mopunda – Kondamendhi and Kuhi – Weltur.

In six

remote and Naxail-affected area of Gadchiroli, six Additional Tehsildars’ offices

will function in – Kurkheda – Malewada, Armori –Vairagad, Dhanora – Pendhri, Sironcha

– Asaralli, Etapalli – Kasansur, and Aheri – Jimalgatta..

The

villagers will not have to visit original tehsil places for deriving benefits

under various government schemes. The offices will temporarily will be

accommodated in tented or available places.

The

decision has been taken for extending benefits of various government schemes to

villages in remote areas.
