New Delhi, 22 September (H.S.): Domestic bullion markets witnessed a downward trend in early trade on Tuesday, with gold prices declining across most major markets in the country. Following the latest price revision, gold became cheaper by Rs 1,150 to Rs 1,260 per 10 grams. Silver prices also weakened, declining by as much as Rs 5,000 per kilogram during early trading.

Following the price adjustment, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,570 to Rs 1,54,720 per 10 grams across most major bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was quoted in the range of Rs 1,41,690 to Rs 1,41,840 per 10 grams. Silver also witnessed a decline and was trading at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,720 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,41,840 per 10 grams. In the country’s financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,54,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,41,690 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,54,620 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,41,740 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai was trading at Rs 1,54,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,41,690 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,54,570 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at Rs 1,41,690 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,54,620 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,41,740 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,720 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,41,840 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,54,620 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,41,740 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,720 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,41,840 per 10 grams.

Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed weakness in gold prices during early trade, in line with the trend seen in other parts of the country. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,570 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,41,690 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
