Lucknow, 21 Sept (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath has sent a letter to the state's residents, encouraging them to

attend the forthcoming fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show

(UPITS). In his message, Chief Minister Yogi exhorted the state's youngsters to

become entrepreneurs, not job seekers. He also emphasized the achievements of

the MSME and ODOP sectors, as well as the opportunity for fresh investment. CM

Yogi stated in a letter that creating jobs is one of the double engine

government's key goals. Efforts such as One District-One Product

(ODOP) and the current project ODOC are bringing local products to

the international market. He encouraged the young, students, aspiring

entrepreneurs, and craftsmen to take full use of this trade expo, develop new

contacts, and explore prospects based on their skills.

In a post on X, he mentioned, “My esteemed fellow citizens

of the state, The fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show is going to

be held from 25 to 29 September at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater

Noida. With the objective of providing a global platform to the products of

Uttar Pradesh, and enabling the world to recognize the hard work of our

artisans, entrepreneurs, and farmers, the UP International Trade Show was

initiated in the year 2023.”

“The identity of Uttar Pradesh is not merely its market and

manpower, but also the skills of the youth here, as well as the talents of the

artisans, craftsmen, and entrepreneurs. The youth of the state should not just

be seekers of employment, but rather entrepreneurs who create jobs—this is the

vision with which the government has opened new doors of opportunity for the youth.

I urge the youth, students, innovators, and future entrepreneurs of the state

to seize this opportunity,” he added.

“Come in large numbers, understand new connections and new

markets, and seek out fresh opportunities in line with your talents and

capabilities. Through your efforts, local strengths will reach global markets,

and on this very foundation, we will advance toward the goal of a one trillion

dollar economy, thereby realizing the dream of a developed Uttar Pradesh,” he

remarked prior to signing off.
