
New Delhi, 20 September (H.S.): Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Sunday visited various parts of the Timarpur Assembly constituency to assess local infrastructure and civic issues. Timarpur MLA Suryaprakash Khatri, along with officials from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the Public Works Department, the Delhi Jal Board and the Delhi Police, was also present during the visit.
In a post on social media platform X, Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said that he visited several areas of the Timarpur Assembly constituency, including Mukherjee Nagar, Gopalpur and Wazirabad, where he inspected pump houses, lakes, flood-control arrangements and proposed development works.
He said he also interacted directly with local residents, listened to their concerns and grievances, and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials on the spot to ensure their resolution.
The visit focused on assessing existing civic infrastructure and reviewing proposed development and flood-management measures in the constituency. Official Delhi records also list infrastructure and drainage-related works in areas including Gopalpur and Wazirabad within the Timarpur constituency.
