New Delhi, 20 September (H.S.): Gold prices continued their upward trend in the domestic bullion market on Sunday, with prices rising by Rs 1,290 to Rs 1,410 per 10 grams across most major bullion markets in the country. Silver prices also strengthened, with spot silver gaining by up to Rs 4,900 per kilogram.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,55,840 and Rs 1,55,990 per 10 grams across most domestic bullion markets. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,42,850 to Rs 1,43,000 per 10 grams.

Silver also recorded a sharp rise. In the Delhi bullion market, the precious metal was trading at Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram on Sunday.

On a weekly basis, both gold and silver recorded gains amid an upward trend in international markets. During the previous week’s trading, the price of 24-carat gold increased by as much as Rs 1,260 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold became costlier by up to Rs 1,150 per 10 grams.

Silver also remained firm during the week. Its price increased by as much as Rs 10,000 per kilogram on a weekly basis.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,990 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,43,000 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,850 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was Rs 1,55,890 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,900 per 10 grams.

In Chennai, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,55,840 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,850 per 10 grams. Kolkata also recorded the same prices, with 24-carat gold at Rs 1,55,840 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,850 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,890 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,900 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,990 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,43,000 per 10 grams. In Patna, the prices stood at Rs 1,55,890 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,42,900 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,990 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,43,000 per 10 grams.

Gold also remained firm in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,840 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,850 per 10 grams.

The latest movement reflects continued strength in precious-metal prices across domestic bullion markets, with both gold and silver recording notable gains over the past week.
