Guwahati, 02 September (HS): Singapore-based Assamese expatriate Parikshit Sharma appeared before the fast-track court for the first time to give his statement as a witness in the Zubeen Garg death case.

Speaking to the media, Sharma said, “Whenever the court has summoned me, I have come. I have come for justice and I have complete faith in the Indian judicial system.”

Sharma was reportedly present on the yacht with singer Zubeen Garg at the time of the incident. His appearance before the fast-track court is expected to be significant in the ongoing investigation into the case.-----------
