
Lucknow, 02 Sept (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister
Keshav Prasad Maurya received a courtesy call from a high-level German
delegation at his camp office in the capital, Lucknow, on Wednesday. During the
meeting, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Uttar
Pradesh and Germany in various fields.
The meeting focused on meaningful discussions on new
possibilities of investment, innovation, skill development and industrial
cooperation, so that new opportunities for development and employment could be
created in the state.
Present on the occasion were David Rendle, Mayor of
Raunheim, Germany, Stefan Wittekind, CEO of Innovation Hub Rheinmain, Nirmal
Raman, CEO of German Indian Business Alliance and Selvakumar Periasamy,
President of German Indian Business Alliance, along with several other
representatives.
Economic Cooperation: Developed collaborations between Uttar
Pradesh and Germany to promote industry growth, skill development, and
technical exchange.
Prior engagements: Building on past outreach efforts this year, including
Invest UP delegation trips to German industrial and rail infrastructure sites
such as RailOne GmbH.
