Udalguri (Assam), 02 September (HS): Two people were killed and another sustained serious injuries after a speeding car lost control and crashed into a concrete wall in the Bhuiyankhati area of Assam’s Udalguri district late Tuesday night.

Police said the two deceased were identified as Himanshu Saharia and Manas Kakati. Manas was a teacher, while Himanshu was a businessman. Both were residents of Ramgaon in Sipajhar.

The injured passenger was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.-----------
