
Actor Vidyut Jammwal, who has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood and South Indian cinema with his powerful action performances and acting prowess, is now set to make his Hollywood debut. The final trailer of his debut film “Street Fighter” has been released. Released by Paramount Pictures India, the trailer offers a glimpse of high-octane action and impressive martial arts sequences. The film’s first trailer was released in April. The film has been directed by Kitao Sakurai and also features Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns and Andrew Koji in pivotal roles.
Based on Capcom’s popular video game franchise, “Street Fighter” is set in 1993. Vidyut Jammwal will portray the character of yoga master Dhalsim in the film. The story revolves around two estranged martial arts friends, Ryu and Ken, played by Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo, respectively. The two are recruited to participate in a dangerous World Warrior tournament, where they come up against some of the world’s most formidable and dangerous fighters.
Vidyut Jammwal’s character also stands out in the trailer, which showcases him in a distinctive avatar. Jason Momoa and Roman Reigns are also seen delivering high-impact action sequences in the film. The trailer’s glimpses of martial arts, intense combat and large-scale action sequences have caught the audience’s attention. There is considerable excitement among Vidyut’s fans over his Hollywood debut. “Street Fighter” is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 16, 2026.
