Shri Radha Krishna Temple to be decorated with rainbow

colored electrical decorations

Prayagraj, 02 Sept (HS): In preparation for the Shri Krishna

Janmashtami festival to be held on September 4, preparations are underway in

full swing to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna with great

pomp and show at Munshi Ram Prasad's Bagiya Shri Radhakrishna Temple in

Mutthiganj.

Program coordinator Kumar Narayan said that on September 4, Lord

Shri Krishna's birth anniversary will be celebrated at midnight after

worshipping him with full rituals. And as soon as he is born, he will be

anointed with milk, curd, ghee, honey and Ganga water. Tableau based on the

Leela of Shri Krishna including 12 Jyotirlingas will be decorated.

On this occasion, Lord Shri Krishna will wear golden silk

clothes and will swing in the cradle. Kanhai and Badhaiya will be sung. Apart

from this, Shri Radha Krishna temple will be decorated attractively with full

colour electrical decorations. Media in-charge of the programme Rajesh

Kesarwani told that on this occasion, along with the tableau based on the leela

of Lord Shri Krishna, an attractive tableau of these 12 Jyotirlingas is also

being decorated. This will remain decorated from September 4 Shri Krishna

Janmashtami to September 10 Shri Krishna Chhath festival. And every day Lord

Shri Krishna's tableau will be decorated. Mangal Aarti will be performed and he

will be offered Makhan Mishri Laddu Panchamrit and other dishes.
