The State Amateur Drama Contest will begin on November 16, 2026. The Directorate

of Cultural Affairs hols the contests in Marathi, Hindi, Musical Drama, Sanskrit,

children’s drama and children’s drama for Divyang every year.

The

Directorate has incited online entries till September 25, Director, Cultural

Affairs, Prashant Khedekar has informed the media.

The

preliminary round of the 23rd children’s drama contest will be held

in December at 10 regional centres. Similarly the final round of the 65th

Hindi, Musical Drama and Sanskrit Drama will be held in December.

The

amateur groups can register online in the prescribed format available along with

the rules on the official website https://mahanatyaspardha.com.

The last date for registration is September 25.
