
Prayagraj, 02 Sept (HS): Among the patients injured in the Kaushambi
firecracker factory explosion and admitted to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital,
16-year-old Urvashi, who was undergoing treatment on ventilator support in a
very critical condition, passed away on Wednesday at 4:05 am.
Urvashi's condition remained extremely critical from the
start. She was kept on ventilator support and the critical care team provided
continuous intensive care and life-saving treatment. Despite all the doctors'
best efforts, she could not be saved.
Of the five patients injured in the explosion and admitted
to SRN, two have died so far, while the remaining three are currently in stable
condition. They are receiving necessary treatment and regular monitoring. Under
the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. A.K. Verma, the medical team of Trauma,
Critical Care, Surgery and related departments are continuously engaged in the
treatment and monitoring of patients.
