Mumbai, 02 Sept (HS): The Bombay High Court has

directed investigation into Disha Salian (Manager of Bollywood Actor late

Sushant Sinh Rajput) death to CBI. The direction came while hearing the

petition filed by Disha’s father Satish Salian.

Disha died after falling from a high-rise building

on 8 June, 2020. Her death raised several questions as she died a few days

before Sushant Sinh death. Saitsh Salian raised objection to investigation in

the case by the Mumbai Police and pointed out deficiencies in the FIR, and the

manner in which the investigation was in progress under Section 174 of CrPC

(Accidental Death). Satish Salian has also pointed out the investigation under

this section has a time limit, and can be questioned in the court of law.

The High Court registered Satisha Salian’s statement

and directed to carry out investigation by CBI
