Beed, 02 Sept (HS): The technical and security tests

for Beed-Pune railway route have been completed and the train services will

start from September 17, the day to mark Marathwada Liberation Movement. Deputy

Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar issued instructions to complete all the technical

tests to start Beed-Mumbai ((Panvel) rail services by December this year.

Sunetra Pawar was addressing a meeting at Sahyadri

Guest House in Mumbai to review development of work on Ahityanagar-Beed-Parali rail

route and starting Beed-Pune, and Beed-Mumbai rail services.

DCM’s Chief Secretary Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, through

video conferencing Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Divisional Commissioner G Shrikath,

Pune District Collector Jitendra Hudi, Beed District Collector Vivek Jonson,

Chief Engineer of Central Railway B K Sinh, Additional Divisional Railway

Manager Padmasinh Jadhav and other senior officers were present.
