Guwahati, 02 September (HS): Compensation cheques of Rs.7 lakh each were handed over to the families of those who killed in a road accident at Khetri in Sonapur.

On behalf of the Assam government, Dimoria MLA Dr. Tapan Das distributed the cheques to the bereaved families. The families of the deceased, Inchan Ali, Jyotika Ronghang and Tafizul Ali, each received a cheque for Rs.7 lakh as financial assistance.-----------
