Bhubaneswar, 02 September (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has congratulated four-year-old Elena Mishra for creating a record by becoming the youngest female player to hold an official FIDE rating.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister praised Elena’s achievement, describing it as a proud moment for Odisha and an inspiring example of exceptional talent, dedication and determination at such a young age.

“Heartiest congratulations to 4-year-old Elena Mishra of Odisha on creating history as the youngest female player to hold an official FIDE rating,” Majhi said.

The Chief Minister noted that while most children of her age are only beginning to explore learning and new interests, Elena has already established her presence in the world of chess.

He said Elena’s accomplishment reflects her remarkable talent and commitment and expressed hope that her journey would inspire more young minds across Odisha to dream big, pursue their passions and strive for excellence.

Majhi extended his best wishes to Elena and her family for many more achievements and milestones in her chess journey.
