Lucknow, 19 Sept (HS): Today was a very special day for the
youth of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented appointment
letters to 818 candidates selected in various departments at a ceremony held at
the Lok Bhavan auditorium in Lucknow. These included candidates from the
departments of Medical and Health Services, AYUSH, Vocational Education and
Skill Development, and Industry. The Chief Minister personally handed over
appointment letters to 21 selected candidates, while the remaining candidates received
their appointment letters through their respective departments.
In the program organized in
Lucknow for the distribution of appointment letters to the candidates selected
by UPPSC and UPSSSC for various departmental positions, he said, “Not a single
recruitment happened honestly before the year 2017. Uttar Pradesh has been a
consistent revenue surplus state for the past 6 years. Appointment letters to
more than 1 lakh youths will be given in next 6 months. Today we have succeeded
in more than tripling UP's Per Capita Income, economy, women workforce, and
budget. Today, UP is achieving exports worth millions of crores. This work
could have been done even before the year 2017. In the Samajwadi Party's
government, those who hadn't applied got their appointment letters distributed,
while the poor souls who did apply were left just watching. Those who have
harmed the youth of UP, who have tampered with their future. UP will no longer
tolerate such people now.”
In Lucknow, during the appointment letter distribution
program for candidates selected for various departmental posts by UPPSC and
UPSSSC, CM Yogi said that when recruitment boards and commissions do not fall
prey to any politics of governance and the examinations are completed in a
transparent and fair manner, then the results are visible like this. The
results of the 9.5 lakh appointment letters that we have distributed
transparently in various departments are in front of us. Before 2017, there
used to be riots in UP every other day, curfews were imposed for months, no one
was safe, the then government had discredited the entire process by placing its
brothers and nephews in the recruitment boards and commissions.
He said that not a single recruitment was done honestly.
Youth were fleeing, facing a well on one side and a ditch on the other. In the
name of Uttar Pradesh, no one would provide them with accommodation facility.
This situation was terrifying for any youth. Uttar Pradesh became a sick state
due to the sick mentality of the then government. Uttar Pradesh wasn't sick,
the government's mentality was sick, and the working system was corrupt. He
further warned that those who created a ruckus before 2017 regarding the
distribution of appointment letters should note that within the next six
months, we will be giving appointment letters to 100,000 youth. He also said
that before 2017, a person who was not even qualified for the position was
appointed Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. When the
ruckus erupted, the court had to order that he be sent to jail, let him rot in
jail for the rest of his life. He had created an identity crisis for the youth
of Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, in a post on X, he mentioned, “The double-engine
government is providing new identity to the dreams of the youth by handing over
appointment letters to them and infusing new energy into the service of the
state. Today, in Lucknow, appointment letters will be provided to 818 selected
candidates from various departments. Advance congratulations to all the youth
who are about to take on their new responsibilities, and best wishes for a
bright future.”
