Bhubaneswar, 19 September (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the tragic death of Odia tourists in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

In a social media post, Majhi said he was deeply saddened by the loss of the Odia tourists in the accident. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones.

The Chief Minister said he has directed the concerned officials to coordinate with the Madhya Pradesh Government and the local administration to expedite all necessary procedures.

He further directed officials to ensure that the mortal remains of the deceased are brought back to Odisha with due dignity.

Majhi assured the bereaved families that the State Government stands firmly with them during this difficult hour of grief and will extend all necessary assistance.
