Deputy Chief Minister Shukla took the youth of Bhopal on a tour of the Rewa district

Bhopal, September 19(HS): Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said Madhya Pradesh and Vindhya have immense potential for tourism development. Rich in natural beauty, forests and waterfalls in the Rewa division and religious places like Maihar, Chitrakoot and Amarkantak attract everyone. Mukundpur White Tiger Safari, Panna National Park, Sanjay Tiger Reserve, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Sanjay Dubri Sanctuary are good tourist spots.

Deputy Chief Minister Shukla was addressing a programme on Maa Tujhe Salaam Yojana in Rewa on Saturday. On this occasion, he flagged off a team of youth from Bhopal Division who visited Rewa district under the scheme. The team will visit Mahamrityunjay Temple, Museum, White Tiger Safari, Purwa Falls and Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary in Rewa district. The event has been organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that Rewa has highway connectivity from all sides. It is served by railways and ATR 72 flights to five major cities. Many people come to Rewa by plane on weekends and visit the surrounding areas. Rewa has a 750 MW solar plant that powers the Delhi Metro. A model of natural farming has also been developed in the Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary, sheltering more than 9 thousand cows. Cow rearing and natural farming will keep our future generations healthy. The younger generation will be healthy only then it will be able to take advantage of development works.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make the country fully developed and Vishwaguru by the year 2047. The youth of today will benefit from the development of the India of Prime Minister Modi's dreams.

Speaking at the event, Divisional Sports Officer MK Dholpuri said that the team of youth from Bhopal division includes youth from Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh and Bhopal. They will be taken on a two-day tour of the district. President of the Municipal Corporation Venkatesh Pandey, Rajagopal Mishrachari, other public representatives and youth were present at the programme.
