Hubballi, 19 September (H.S.): Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s health deteriorated while he was staying at a private hotel in Hubballi, Karnataka. He is being treated by doctors at the hotel, party sources said.

A team of doctors accompanying Amit Shah is providing treatment at the hotel following his health issue. The doctors have advised him to take rest for around two hours, according to party sources.

Following the deterioration in Amit Shah’s health, Dharwad Deputy Commissioner and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Bhuvanesh Patil visited the private hotel where he is staying.

After taking rest as advised by the doctors, Amit Shah is likely to travel directly to Delhi, according to information available.

Amit Shah had arrived at Hubballi airport from Delhi on a special flight late Friday night. He subsequently stayed at a private hotel in Hubballi.

He was scheduled to attend the inauguration of the new medical college and hospital of the KLE Society in Hubballi on Saturday. However, following his health condition, his scheduled programmes for the day have been cancelled.
