Guwahati, 19 September (H.S.): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday extended his greetings to people on the occasion of Radhashtami, describing Radharani as the embodiment of the highest expression of devotion and divine love.

In a social media post, Sarma said Radharani represents the supreme experience of devotion, where the spiritual presence of the Supreme Being resides. He described Krishna’s beloved Radharani as the highest manifestation of Lord Krishna’s love, the revered deity of Braj and an ideal of devotion.

The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt wishes to everyone on the sacred occasion of Radhashtami and prayed that the blessings of Radharani would fill people’s lives with love, devotion and happiness.------------
