19 Sept (HS): Union Minister Amit Shah cancelled his two-day Kolhapur tour and

went directly to Delhi from Hubballi in Karnataka, due to health issues.

Shah reached Hubballi and was to attend inauguration of a Medical Research

Centre at KLE Society’s Medical College in Hubballi and then proceed to Kolhapur.

However, he stayed at Denissons Hotel. He rested for some time and then left

for Delhi as he started feeling uncomfortable.

Minister Prahlad Joshi, BJP Regional President B Y Vijayendra, MP basavraj

Bommai, former minister Murugesh Nirani, C C Patil, Iranna Kadadi, Abhay Patil

and Ramesh Katti met Shah at the hotel and enquired about his health before

leaving for the inaugural function.
