Guwahati, 18 September (HS): Vishwakarma Puja, dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and craftsman, is being celebrated across Assam on Friday with religious fervour and enthusiasm.

Business establishments, offices, media houses and various institutions across the state have organised special prayers and rituals on the occasion. Workplaces associated with machinery, tools and technical activities have also marked the day by worshipping their equipment and seeking blessings for prosperity and smooth operations.

ASTC’s office in Guwahati also organised Vishwakarma Puja on the occasion. Employees and staff members participated in the rituals and offered prayers for prosperity, success and well-being. The festival is observed annually by workers, entrepreneurs, technicians and institutions associated with various trades and industries.------------
