
New Delhi, 18 September (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly recruited young people for various government organisations during the 20th Rozgar Mela on Saturday. The Prime Minister will hand over the appointment letters through video conferencing at 12:30 p.m. and will also address the newly appointed candidates on the occasion.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Rozgar Mela will be organised at 45 locations across the country. The newly recruited candidates will join various ministries and departments of the Central Government. These include the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Defence, among others.
According to the government, the Rozgar Mela is part of its continued efforts to create employment opportunities for young people and provide them with greater opportunities to contribute to the development of the country.
With the 20th Rozgar Mela, appointment letters will have been issued to around 12.75 lakh young people across various government departments and organisations so far.
