Bhubaneswar, 18 September (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is in New Delhi to participate in SEMICON India 2026, a key platform bringing together global semiconductor leaders, investors and technology partners.

According to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office, Majhi will engage with industry experts, investors and technology leaders during the event and highlight Odisha’s capabilities, policy support and emerging opportunities in the semiconductor and electronics sector.

The CMO said Odisha is steadily strengthening its position in the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem, with projects spanning semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging and other emerging technologies.

The Chief Minister’s participation is aimed at showcasing the state’s investment potential and policy framework to global industry stakeholders, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration in the rapidly expanding semiconductor and electronics sectors.

The Odisha CMO said the state is building a strong foundation for the next generation of electronics and semiconductor manufacturing through investments, emerging technologies and industry partnerships.
