Prayagraj, 18 Sept (HS): In the 'Chaukhat Samvad' organized
by the Samajwadi Party in the Pal Basti of Lokpur, located in the Naini-Jamunapar
area of the City South Assembly, local people prominently raised issues
related to education, employment and basic facilities. A large number of local
people, including dignitaries from the Pal community, participated in the
program and put forward the problems of the area and their expectations.
During the dialogue, people raised questions about schools, employment, and
basic amenities in the area. Local residents expressed the need to address
their concerns directly in their settlements and homes, rather than limiting
them to forums. On this occasion, Samajwadi Party State Secretary Mohammad
Shariq, while directly interacting with the people, informed them about the
schemes and proposals recently announced by Samajwadi Party National President
and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. He said that the announcements
include reopening approximately 26,000 primary schools that were closed after
the Samajwadi Party government came to power, providing financial assistance of
Rs. 40,000 to women annually with annual increases, and providing free
education to girl students with laptops and other educational facilities.
Mohammad Shariq said that education, employment, health, women's empowerment,
and basic amenities are fundamental issues facing the lives of the people. He
said that the Samajwadi Party is continuously communicating with the public on
these issues. He said, The true meaning of politics is to reach the
people's doorsteps, listen to them, and raise their questions forcefully. 'Chaukhat
Samvad' is an effort to achieve this very goal.
He also said that in preparation for the upcoming elections, the Samajwadi
Party has taken steps towards preparing a separate manifesto based on the local
needs and problems of each district, so that development priorities can be
decided in accordance with local issues. During the doorstep
dialogue, local residents detailed the problems facing the area. Party
leaders and workers listened to them and assured them of raising the issues at
the organizational level.
Azharuddin, Ahmed Raza, Anil Patel, Ramesh Pal, Ajay Pasi, other Samajwadi
Party workers, and local citizens were present at the event. Mohammad Shariq
went door-to-door to interact with the residents of the settlement and gathered
information about the current situation in the area. Through 'Chaukhat Samvad',
SP gave a clear message that connection with the public should not be limited
to meetings only, but should reach every home and every locality.
