Prayagraj, 18 Sept (HS): Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad

Maurya, who arrived in Prayagraj to attend an event on Friday, said during a

formal media interaction that it is well known that the Samajwadi Party (SP)

used tricks in the 2022 UP Assembly elections, joining forces with

the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and the SBSP and inducting several influential

leaders into its fold. Despite this, it failed to dislodge the BJP from power.

All its social and political calculations were shattered.

This time, the SP lacks both Jayant Chaudhary and Om Prakash

Rajbhar. In fact, the SP possesses neither vision nor credible leadership. The

public lacks its trust. Therefore, its game of caste equations and empty

slogans will fail this time too. He added that no maneuvering by SP leader

Akhilesh Yadav will be able to reverse the BJP's fortunes for a third time. The

BJP is certain to secure a hat-trick in Uttar Pradesh, and the lotus will bloom

for the third time. The people of Uttar Pradesh do not want hooliganism and

criminals. Regarding the Election Commission's interim order barring both

factions of the Trinamool Congress from using the party's name and symbol in

the upcoming by-elections in the Nandigram and Rajnagar assembly constituencies

in West Bengal, the Deputy Chief Minister said, Confused Congress leader Rahul

Gandhi, who is questioning the Election Commission's decision on the Trinamool

Congress, doesn't realize that the Trinamool Congress was formed by a split

from the Congress, after which the Gandhi family's Congress in West Bengal is

merely in name, not of any use.

During an interaction with party workers at the Circuit

House, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya urged party workers to step

up their election activism. They should attack the opposition and expose their

lies. The BJP has workers, while the opposition has goons. The public

understands everything. Where the BJP comes to power once, it comes back a

third time. Make the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan a success. Don't lag behind in

reaching out to the public. Our victory in 2027 is certain; we just need to put

in all our effort.

I used to apply tilak, I still do it and will continue to do

it till my last breath: In Kaushambi, SP leader (Indrajeet Saroj) gave a

controversial statement on the Deputy CM and raised questions on his applying

tilak, on which, while talking to the media, in response to this question, the

Deputy CM said that even when he was not in politics, he used to apply tilak of

Hanumanji and he still does it and will continue to apply tilak till his last

breath.
