New Delhi, 18 September (H.S.): Gold prices showed a weak trend during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Friday. Following the decline in prices, gold became cheaper by Rs 570 to Rs 620 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged for the fifth consecutive day. The precious metal continued to trade at Monday’s level during early trading today.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,830 to Rs 1,52,980 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,40,090 to Rs 1,40,240 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,980 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,40,240 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,52,830 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,52,880 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,140 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,52,830 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,830 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,52,880 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,140 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,980 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,40,240 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,52,880 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,140 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,980 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,240 per 10 grams.

As in other parts of the country, gold prices also showed a declining trend during early trading in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,830 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,40,090 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
