Lucknow, 18 Sept (HS): Union Minister for Environment,

Forest, and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav met with Uttar Pradesh Chief

Minister Yogi at his official house in Lucknow to address major environmental

and administrative issues. Discussions centered on environmental concerns,

forest protection, and joint development initiatives between the Centre and

state governments.

The high-level discussion focused on vital environmental

projects, forest protection, and climate change policies related to Uttar

Pradesh. Bhupendra Yadav is the Union Minister for Environment, Forests, and

Climate Change, as well as a Lok Sabha MP from Alwar, Rajasthan. This courtesy

meeting shows the ongoing collaboration between the national environment

ministry and the Uttar Pradesh state administration to advance sustainable and

environmentally friendly development initiatives. The meet complements the

central government's continued emphasis on sustainable development,

environmental restoration, and resource management. It follows previous

high-profile environmental talks, notably the end of the World Circular Economy

Forum (WCEF 2026).

Meanwhile, UP CM mentioned in a post on X, “Today, a

courtesy meeting was held with the Honorable Union Minister Shri Bhupendra

Yadav Ji at the government residence located in Lucknow.”
