
New Delhi, 18 September (H.S.): Sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have begun in India. Long queues of customers were seen outside Apple Stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru on Friday. Many people were also seen waiting in line since the night to be among the first to purchase their preferred iPhone model.
As the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max became available for sale in Delhi and other major cities across the country, a large crowd gathered at the Apple Store at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket this morning. Similarly, a large number of people arrived at the Apple Store located at DLF Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to purchase the new devices.
In Mumbai, a large crowd also gathered outside the Apple Store at Jio World Drive, while in Bengaluru, customers queued outside the Apple Store to purchase the newly launched iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
A customer in Mumbai said that he had been standing in the queue since 10 p.m. and had received the first 8 a.m. slot. Meanwhile, a customer in Bengaluru said that the iPhone launch felt like a festival. Similarly, a customer in Delhi said, “I have come to buy the 18 Pro Max 1TB. I had pre-booked it and am just waiting.”
Notably, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900. The Pro models are offered in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage configurations.
This is also the first time that the new Pro models made in India are being manufactured in the country from the first day of sale, at Apple’s Chennai facility, and shipped from India to global markets.
