Cooch Behar, 17 September (H.S.) : On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, a housewife from Cooch Behar has showcased her artistic talent in a unique manner. Soma Mukherjee, a resident of the New Bazar area, has crafted three extremely small miniature statues of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after nearly three months of hard work and intricate craftsmanship. The height of the first statue is 4 centimeters, the second is 2.2 centimeters, and the third and smallest statue is just 1.5 centimeters tall. These statues have been meticulously prepared using various materials, including cloth.

According to Soma, she has been passionate about making miniature statues of famous personalities since childhood. Earlier, a small miniature Durga idol crafted by her had garnered immense appreciation. She has also created miniature statues of eminent figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Now, by preparing these three miniature statues of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Soma has presented yet another unique artwork.

She expressed her desire to personally present these handmade statues directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a gift. Various programs are being organized across the country to mark the Prime Minister's birthday. In line with this, a month-long 'Seva Sankalp' campaign is also being conducted by the Cooch Behar district organization. Meanwhile, Soma's miniature artworks have become a major center of attraction among the local people.
