West Bengal, 17 September (H.S.): A four-day programme is being organised in Rishra by the Serampore Mandal BJP to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life. A blood donation camp was organised here on Thursday as part of the programme.

A number of BJP leaders and workers attended the camp. According to information available at the time of filing the report, around 25 people had donated blood at the camp.

Those present included Suman Ghosh, president of the Srirampur organisational district BJP; vice-presidents Manoj Singh and Rajesh Singh; BJP leader Rakesh Singh; Santosh Singh, president of Srirampur Mandal-4 BJP; Yuva Morcha president Santosh Mondal; and Sunny Kumar Singh, founder of an NGO, among others.

According to the organisers, various social service activities are being conducted as part of the four-day programme. The blood donation camp was organised to support patients requiring blood and to promote social service.

The organisers said further social service programmes would be held as part of the four-day event.
