
Varanasi, 17 Sept (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, while wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th
birthday, described his 25 years in public life as a symbol of good governance,
service, and upliftment of the poor. He said that Prime Minister Modi has moved
the country forward through relentless and unwavering hard work. The Chief
Minister was addressing a function organized at the Rudraksh Convention Center,
Sigra, Varanasi on Thursday to mark Prime Minister Modi's birthday and his 25th
anniversary in public life. From there, he, along with Defense Minister Rajnath
Singh, flagged off the Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra from Varanasi to
Vadnagar.
Journey of public service began on 7
October 2001: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Narendra Modi was sworn
in as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. He will complete 25 years
of service in this constitutional position on October 7, 2026. He said that
since then, the Prime Minister has continued his journey with the mantra of
Charaiveti-Charaiveti.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister
Modi's visit, powered by tenacity, hard work, and dedication, is showing us a
new India. He said that this is an India that is secure, proud of its heritage,
and speaks eye to eye with the world. The Chief Minister said that the new
India respects its heritage along with development.
Respecting heritage while developing: The
Chief Minister said that New India is respecting its heritage and cultural
identity while pursuing development. He specifically mentioned the Ram Lalla
Temple in Ayodhya, the Vindhyavasini Dham Corridor in Mirzapur, the Kedarnath,
Badrinath, and Mahakal Corridors, as well as the 2025 Prayagraj Maha Kumbh
Mela. He said that the journey from gaining global recognition to the
development of religious and cultural sites demonstrates a “wonderful synergy
between development and heritage.”
A commitment to serve the last person
standing: Yogi Adityanath said that Prime Minister Modi, having risen from
poverty, has strived to transform the lives of ordinary citizens through
tireless hard work and his vision. The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,
starting from Kashi, is not just an event but a comprehensive campaign to
spread the resolve of public service to the lowest rung of society. He praised
the enthusiasm of the youth participating in the Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra,
saying that this journey, passing through various states and districts of the
country, will spread the message of cleanliness, environmental protection, and
social welfare.
A bridge of service will connect Kashi and
Vadnagar: The Chief Minister stated that to commemorate the spirit of the
seva sankalp (service resolution), yatras are being organized
connecting Kashi and Vadnagar. From Kashi, pilgrims will reach Vadnagar via
different routes, carrying water from the sacred rivers of Uttar Pradesh, while
seva yatras will return to Kashi carrying water from the sacred rivers of
Gujarat. He stated that these yatras will pass through 10 states, 193
districts, 773 tehsils, and 1,159 villages. The Chief Minister described this
as a campaign that embodies the spirit of Ek Bharat-Shrestha
Bharat.
100 km journey every day in 20 days: Yogi
said that during this 20-day journey, each youth will have to travel
approximately 100 kilometers daily and participate in four major events. He
said that this journey will not only be exciting for the youth but will also
provide an opportunity to interact with people from different states. He said
that on October 7th, everyone will once again be a part of this journey.
India is rapidly advancing in modern
technology: The Chief Minister highlighted the technological achievements of
New India, highlighting the expansion in areas such as Vande Bharat, Namo
Bharat, Metro, semiconductors, quantum computing, AI Mission, drone technology,
and robotics. He said that India is rapidly advancing in the field of modern
technology and its position globally has changed. He said that India is now
among the top four economies in the world.
The journey will continue with the message
of 'One India, Best India': The Chief Minister said that this journey from
Kashi to Vadnagar is an opportunity to remember Prime Minister Modi's public
service journey. He said that the 'Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra' will move forward
with the message of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat', heritage and development and
will spread the message of service and national unity at every stop. Defense
Minister Rajnath Singh, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union
Minister Chirag Paswan, State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary and other public
representatives were present at the event.

objective during his 25 years of public life. Today, on the sacred occasion of
his 76th birthday, the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will be launched from Baba Vishwanath's
holy city of Varanasi. At the same time, on the auspicious occasion of the
jayanti of Lord Vishwakarma ji, the deity of creation and labor, in Lucknow,
the launch of the exhibition and margin money loan portal based on 'Vishwakarma
Self-Employment and Swadeshi Mela 2026' under the 'Vishwakarma Shram Samman
Yojana 2.0', as well as the distribution of checks and toolkits to
beneficiaries of various schemes, will take place. This journey of resolve
through service, self-reliance through labor, and prosperity through swadeshi
will give new momentum to the goal of 'Viksit Bharat'.”
