
New Delhi, 17 September (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday performed a traditional havan during a 108-kund Yajna organised at the Khatu Shyam Vishal Mandir Delhi Dham on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, praying for his long, illustrious life dedicated to the service of the nation. Later, the Chief Minister donated blood at a mega blood donation camp held at Thyagaraj Stadium, along with Union Minister of State and Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra and ministers of the Delhi government.
In a post on her social media account on X, the Chief Minister said that 17,000 trustees participated in the 108-kund Yajna organised at the Khatu Shyam Vishal Mandir Delhi Dham on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday. She added that children with disabilities recited the Sunderkand and prayed for the Prime Minister’s long and illustrious life.
Gupta said she prayed that Baba Shyam would continue to bless the Prime Minister, whom she described as the country’s ‘Pradhan Sevak’, with energy, strength and success, and that every resolve undertaken by him in the national interest would be fulfilled.
