New Delhi, 17 September (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin will visit Punjab on Friday and launch the ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’. According to the BJP, Nitin Nabin will arrive in Pathankot, Punjab, on September 18 and participate in various programmes during his visit.

Nabin will pay floral tributes to Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee at Ekta Sthal in Pathankot at 12:30 pm. This will be followed by a meeting with families affected by the problem of drug abuse at 12:45 pm. The programme will be held at the rally venue near Ekta Sthal.

At 1 pm, the ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’ will be flagged off from the rally venue located near Ekta Sthal.

It may be noted that the BJP will undertake four ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatras’ across Punjab from September 18 to 30. Nitin Nabin will launch these yatras. The four journeys will commence from Sujanpur in Pathankot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka and Talwandi Sabo.

Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and other senior party leaders will also participate in the yatras at different stages.

All four yatras will culminate in a large public meeting in Jalandhar on September 30.
