Beed. 17 Sept (HS): Deputy

Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar hoisted flag in Beed to mark the Marathwada

Liberation Day. She also paid tributes to martyrs of Marathwada, Telangana and

Karnataka freedom struggle.

Pawar recalled contribution of people from Beed and

Ambejogai in the struggle. She resolved to change the historic land into a

developed social, educated and cultural place.

She also met family members of the martyrs.

Legislators Vijaysinh Pandit, Municipal Chief Premlata Parve, ZP CEO Jitin Rahman,

District Collector Vivek Jonson and other senior officers were present.

Sunetra Pawar said that her father late Bajirao

Patil was a part of the Marathwada liberation struggle under the leadership of

Swami Ramanandteerth.
