New Delhi, 17 September (H.S.): On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, and several other Union ministers and chief ministers extended greetings to the people. The leaders described Lord Vishwakarma as a symbol of creation, construction, craftsmanship and technical skill, while highlighting the contributions of the country's artisans, craftsmen, workers and engineers.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that Lord Vishwakarma represents India's rich tradition of knowledge, craftsmanship and technical expertise. He said the festival is also an occasion to honour artisans, craftsmen, workers, engineers and other dedicated professionals who are driving the country's development through their skills and hard work. He called for a resolve to make skill, innovation and dedication a source of the nation's strength.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah extended his greetings to the people on Vishwakarma Jayanti and paid tribute to craftsmen, artisans and workers who are strengthening the foundation of a developed India through their skills and hard work.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the skill, dedication and creativity of the country's craftsmen, workers and artisans are accelerating the building of a self-reliant and developed India. He prayed to Lord Vishwakarma for happiness, prosperity and success in everyone's life.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari extended his greetings on Vishwakarma Jayanti. Describing Lord Vishwakarma as a symbol of construction and creation, he prayed for his blessings to give fresh impetus to the development of the country's infrastructure.

Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju described Lord Vishwakarma as the divine craftsman of creation and the presiding deity of architecture and construction. He wished for the country's construction and skill base to continue growing stronger.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Lord Vishwakarma inspires creativity, excellence and hard work. He prayed for renewed energy for workers and for the country to achieve new milestones in development.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended her greetings on Vishwakarma Jayanti and honoured the craftsmen, artisans and workers contributing to nation-building. She wished for the continued progress of workers and artisans through the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended Vishwakarma Jayanti greetings to the people of the state. He said he prayed that, with Lord Vishwakarma's blessings, the state's tradition of labour and creativity would continue to flourish and bring happiness and prosperity to all.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended his greetings on Vishwakarma Jayanti and said he prayed that, inspired and blessed by Lord Vishwakarma, the spirit of labour, skill and innovation would continue to grow stronger, bringing happiness, prosperity and progress into the lives of craftsmen, artisans and hardworking workers.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal also extended greetings to the people on Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. He paid tribute to workers and artisans who contribute to the country's development through their labour and skills and wished happiness and prosperity in every household.
