New Delhi, 17 September (H.S.): Thousands of ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ lamps were lit on the premises of the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Thursday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday, creating a festive and auspicious atmosphere across the complex.

The programme was organised to express respect and greetings to the Prime Minister and to commemorate the special occasion. The historic premises of the Delhi Legislative Assembly were illuminated by the glow of thousands of earthen lamps. Senior officials and employees of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat also participated in the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ lighting programme. The information was shared through a press release.

The occasion was also observed as a mark of respect for Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and his dedication to public service. The lighting of the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ lamps symbolised the collective good wishes of the people of the country, as well as their respect and appreciation for the Prime Minister’s contribution to the nation’s development, progress and transformation.

Held at the historic premises of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, the programme also highlighted India’s development journey towards building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant nation.
