Bhubaneswar, 17 September (H.S.) : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to building a developed India and an enduring symbol of national self-respect and public service.

In a post on social media platform X, Majhi conveyed greetings to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Odisha and said his visionary leadership had ushered in a new chapter of national awakening.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for Modi’s affection towards Odisha and the support extended by the Prime Minister towards the development of infrastructure and other sectors in the state.

Majhi said Odisha is observing the occasion through the ‘Seva Sankalp Parv’, inspired by the Prime Minister’s commitment to public welfare. He said the state government is renewing its resolve to build a prosperous, empowered and developed Odisha through dedicated public service, welfare of the poor and efforts to bring smiles to the faces of people at the last mile.

The Chief Minister also prayed to Lord Jagannath for the Prime Minister’s long life, good health and continued blessings. He expressed hope that Modi’s long and dedicated journey of public service would continue to provide new direction to the country.

Majhi further expressed his wishes for the realisation of the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ under Modi’s leadership and for India to continue progressing on the global stage.
