Jammu, 16 September (H.S.): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to visit Pulwama district today to take stock of the ongoing developmental activities and review the progress of key projects being implemented across the district.

During his visit, the Chief Minister is expected to hold a detailed review of various development initiatives, with focus on the pace of execution, completion of ongoing works and implementation of major projects aimed at improving public infrastructure and essential services.

As part of the visit, developmental projects worth around ₹86 crore will be dedicated to the people of Pulwama. The projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure and enhancing the availability and quality of essential public services for residents across the district.

Officials are expected to brief the Chief Minister on the status of major ongoing works, including projects related to public infrastructure and other sectors directly linked with the welfare and convenience of the people.

The visit comes as the administration continues to emphasise timely completion of development projects and improved delivery of government services at the grassroots level.

The Chief Minister’s interaction with district authorities is also expected to provide an opportunity to assess implementation challenges and review measures required to ensure that sanctioned projects are completed within stipulated timelines.
